Unrequited
We were sitting in a cafe, you were on a phone call with your boss like usual. I was staring at you, but this starring led to the day I wish to spend with you. A wedding day that will celebrate our love, a day that will make our parents happy, a day that will stress the hell out of us. A day I wish I said the things that I wanted to say. This is what I would say if anxiety wasn’t a factor.
Let me raise a toast to the human I love the most.
The one that brought my youth back.
The one that let me be free without being wild.
The one who was worthy without evaluation.
Your phone call ended, and so is my thought.
